You’re invited to enjoy a Colombian Fruit Compote, with mango, banana, pineapple & uchuva, plumped up with a little hot water.

This dessert takes 5 mins to prepare, then leave for a couple of hours or overnight.

Serve hot or cold. Exquiste with a generous dollop of Pitaya Greek Yoghurt!

Bananas don’t grow on trees!!!

They actually grow on the world’s largest herbaceous plants and are related to orchids, palms, and lilies.

Technically bananas are berries & grow from bulbs.

This organic banana farm is run by Orlando, his family and his team.

We joined part of the Fruandes team at one of the 2 mango harvests per year.

It was great to see around the farm and meet the team.

Especially the Venezuelan couple who have found work and a home there ~ inspiring!
